Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry began formally at Immanuel in 1929 with ten women dedicated to ministering to each other, to outreach and to making a difference in the lives of others. They formed a Ladies Aid Society that met for Bible Study, to provide support for missionaries, to serve the congregation as Sunday School leaders, to provide meals for the congregation, foster congregation functions and to provide social gatherings to ladies in the community!

Schedule your own Church Picnic!

Congregation are invited to bring their church family to their very own “Church Picnic” at either Camp Chrysalis or Ebert Ranch. Families can safely socialize as they hike, make crafts, shoot archery, try the ropes course, play camp style yard games or just enjoy time together in the beauty of the outdoors. At Camp Chrysalis, canoeing and catch and release fishing are possible, and at Ebert Ranch making and sharing horse treats, and playing ranch-style frisbee golf can be part of the fun. Camp staff would be happy to plan a worship for you, or you can create your own, and record it for members back home.
